Defused Light

Well, I am happy to report that I came close again to winning the Landscape Photography Magazine’s contest on Defused Light with being one of the finalists. Achieving this status earned me the opportunity to have the above images featured in the magazine as a full page, with description as shown below.

I have always been fond of this image and as you will note from my writeup that this was taken at a local Seattle golf course on a very foggy November morning. Repeating what I said in the narrative, the trees give the appearance of holding up their hands at the end of a show.
